This year’s World Parkinson’s Day we are featured by one of Kenya’s local newspapers – People’s Daily newspaper, where our founder Hellen Mwithiga shares her story and inspiration behind starting this great organization (Africa Parkinsons Disease Foundation) that seeks to create awareness on Parkinson’s Disease and lobby for better health care in Kenya and Africa.
We are marking this day by carrying out a community outreach program in 10 locations in Kenya.
